(1) My life is NOTHING like I expected it was going to be. Whew! I would have been miserable! :)
(2) I think 99% of the people that know me secretly (or not-so-secretly) think I'm actually crazy. I'm not sure how I feel about that... but most days I err on the side of not caring. :)
(3) Sometimes adoption/attachment issues are super-HARD. And it can be very tough to be open about those challenges. There aren't always words, and even if they were, they wouldn't make sense to 99% of the people I know.
(4) That is when I thank God for that 1% that "gets it".
(5) And hope that most of that 1% is the same 1% that doesn't think I'm crazy. ;)
(6) Most days, I love homeschooling!
(7) Some days, I hate it. ;)
(8) The Michael Jackson Experience for the Wii is super-fun. I put the kids to bed and played it for 45 minutes, beating all their high scores. Selam will be pissed in the morning. Priceless!

So you're leaving fb means that I have to acquire a new friend so that I can maintain an odd number of friends. But it's ok. I will continue to be your friend in real people land, which is cool b/c that's where the sledding and hugs are at.
ReplyDeleteAlso, just because I think you're nutty doesn't mean I don't respect and love you. I don't surround myself with sane people and don't intend to as they don't make my life more fun. Also, I cannot tell you how many people I have "impressed" with my newly acquired Martin van Buren knowledge. Goooooooooo Homeschool!
Hug them kids for me and tell Smalls she's killin' me.
HI! Mark!
